Do you want to swim in a sea of fresh powder? Head on over to Rocky Mountain National Park from November to April and do exactly that. You can rent a pair of snow shoes in the town of Estes or at REI in Denver. There are several trailheads to choose from once you enter the park. A few of our favorites include Bear Lake hike, Gem Lake and Flattop Mountain.
