What to expect
Have you been curious to try mountain biking but perhaps intimidated or not sure where to start? We got your back, girl! Come kick the tires with us and give it a whirl! We are partnering up with Singletrack Factory in Denver to bring you an amazing fleet of badass demo bikes. The purpose of this event is to introduce you to the sport of mountain biking. We will provide a general overview with instructions and what to expect on the trails, however, the focus of the day is to get you out peddaling. If you love it, we will be hosting additional events this summer with more formal training.
Saturday evening we will be hosting a fun event at Singletrack Factory from 6:00PM to 7:00PM to get everyone set up and fitted for your bike. Singletrack Factory is located at 1005 S Gaylord St, Denver, CO 80209. Availability will be on a first come, first serve basis. This will also be a fun time to grab a beer and meet some of the ladies you will be riding with on Sunday.
BBQ and brews to follow our ride on Sunday!
What does cost include?
The cost of the event includes a premium bike rental, bike instruction, snacks, lunch and beverages after the ride.
Do I need previous mountain biking experience?
No. In fact this event is meant for newbies! We will seperate into two groups based on skill level once we get to the trailhead.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We will create an event group page on the Fly Rhino Facebook page where we can coordinate carpool. Everyone will pick up their bike Saturday evening at Singletrack and bring it with them to the trailhead on Sunday. If you aren’t able to make it Saturday evening, we will arrange to bring your bike.
What should I bring?
Appropriate bike clothing, helmet, shoes, water and a snack. We will provide lunch after our ride. If you don’t have a helmet, please let us know.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please direct questions to our email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also encourage you to reach out on our Facebook page, “Fly Rhino” to be a part of the discussion and be aware of other upcoming events.
